Truck insurance
Truck Insurance: Find Cheap Offers
The contribution to truck insurance is calculated according to vehicle model, engine power, payload, annual mileage, age of the youngest driver and the damage class, and whether the truck is used in local or long-distance transport and whether dangerous goods are transported. Only liability insurance is required by law, partial or fully comprehensive agreement is voluntary. For new vehicles, however, fully comprehensive protection is strongly recommended, the insurer also pays if the truck is damaged by the fault of the own driver.
Truck leasing partners demand full comprehensive protection
If you lease a truck, the leasing partner already requires full-cash insurance protection. The lessor often offers truck insurance. However, this offer is not always the most favorable, with a fare comparison you often save cash.
Praxis tip: If you insure more than one truck, you can take out fleet insurance for the entire fleet instead of several individual policies. The insurer will pass on the lower administrative expenses to you as the policyholder in the form of lower contributions.
